Top Ten with Tim: Best 2008 Christmas Gifts: Number 1

And so, our list of all six of the top ten Best gifts for any Passamaquoddian comes to an end.  We at the Passamaquoddy Blog are as surprised as you are, not only by the choices and great ideas, but also that the blog could be consistent enough to make it through all six.  For the last time in 2008, we hand this over to Tim Starbird…

How about something practical for your fisherman.  If you are trapping lobster, what is the best month to avoid catching crabs?  Well, turn no further than to our last and best entry for the best gifts for any Passamaquoddian…  Calendars!

Not only are these calendars a pleasure to look at, they’re also very practical…. And there is a calendar for just about any topic.  These graphic examples were downloaded from the “We Wants the Redhead Beefcake Calendar Collection”.  It was mostly calendars of some Olympic Swimmer, but those didn’t strike anyones interest on our website staff.  So be sure to check out a calendar for next year.  They are practical and inexpensive and you can pawn one off on anybody.

Here is one that some people may find of interest..  Its a terrific page-a-day calendar filled with interesting tidbits about a world far, far from Passamaquoddy.  They don’t have a “Chumshop Earth”, “Kickin’ Krabaret” or even a “Soarin’ OverPassamaquoddy”, but the author was able to put together quite a calendar anyway.  Click here to order a copy.

Here’s a word of advice from Jeff W from Iowa. “If you are budget conscious, you can always buy the previous years calendar at a deep discount!  Cross out any mention of the year with a sharpie and you are set!  By the time they have discovered the days don’t match, you’ll be miles away in the cornfield!”
