Broken News: Studio Tour Update

Updates in Passamaquoddy have been few of late as the webmaster was caught eating at a Long John Silvers.  This of course reulted in his shunned.  But there have been a lot of things going on around town – such as the pending opening of Pleasure Island right off our shore – so he’s been allowed to return to work.

Today’s news involves the Passamaquoddy Animation Studio tour, as you could probably guess from the “Clawful Tower” graphic used above.  It seems the rumors are true and that the studio is stopping its active production in favor of a simplistic tour.  Purists have been up in arms about the change, ignoring the fact that the current feature in production (The Fishing Line King) has been under pen for 14 years and has yet to result in 10 minutes of film.

Along with this change comes the retirement of the animation studios montage that wold play to anxious viewers.

Since the copyright on the Passamaquoddy material is so strict,we cannot show anything from that video.

However, we have been able to obtain a similarly themed animation montage used down at the Disney Studios in its early MGM days.  This is either an original copy or a fan made reproduction that went through some pretty painstaking efforts.  The world will never know.

  What no montage, no fishing line king?!?! BOO BOO BOO!!! Bring back the old tour. We wants the tour! Quoddians unite, and fight to get that tour back!
