New Attraction Mania!

May 31st is finally within reach! The new attraction that has been slated for downtown Passamaquoddy is getting ready to open. BASSPASS machines are installed and loaded. And extra PERCH POP-UPS and HERRING WHIPS have been ordered for vendors.

The ride through attraction is sponsored by Passamaquoddy’s own Buoy Store where they specialize in anything that floats and bobs.

In the picture above, QUODDESIGNER Davey Jonah helps put the final touches on the underwater attraction.

Of course, we will give a full review of the attraction after it has opened, but until then, here is a look at some of the early advertising.

Movie Night: Adventure has returned

It’s great to be back.  And I sure do feel welcome.  All our friends from around the community have been nothing but supportive, making my return all but inevitable.  Needless to say, the mood around Passamaquoddy has been a festive one.  Not only because Passamaquoddy is back under our control, but also because the summer movie season is upon us!

Tonight, with a nice cool breeze blowing in from the inlet, we’ve had our movie love satiated.

And of course, there’s one big summer movie that we all had to see.  We all love the hero, in fact we grew up with him; whether he’s running from a villain or outsmarting a diabolical trap during his globetrotting adventures, we’re always guaranteed good entertainment.  He’s getting older now, but we still took a chance.

Well, age was not a factor. Even the youngest children enjoyed the evening as the town of Passamaquoddy shared an evening together watching…

Outside of Passamaquoddy, the film CONDORMAN went extinct long before the Condor species; but not because they didn’t try.

The film had many of the elements of a successful superhero summer picture: A dashing young hero, stage performer Michael Crawford looking more Willie Aames then Phantom of the Opera, a beautiful damsel in distress- Barbara Carrera- who may or may not be playing for both sides.  (Not that way.. politically),  and a strong accented villain (cause all the best villains have strong accents).  It even has an over the top heroic motion picture score composed by the legendary Henry Mancini.

Okay, most of the screenplay is a mishmash of clichés.  But one element intrigued me.  “Woody”, a comic book artist, tries to fly off the Eiffel Tower with his flying contraption to see if it would work.  This is because he refuses to write it into his “Condorman” comic book if it wouldn’t work in reality.  The result is of course, he becomes Condorman in the process

The film is more GET SMART then James Bond, but it fails to be humorous.  Still, when a film hits you at the right point and you’re just the right age, you’ll find strange allegiances.  For that I suggest Condorman is a nostalgic trip for me.

The 1981 film’s miserable performance contributed to the end of Ron Miller’s reign atop the Walt Disney Company and opened the door for Michael Eisner.

The Doctor is in…

Hello my friends,

It is great to be back amongst the town I love. While the site has seen some turmoil with Jim who would never be held accountable for his statements and the near miss with Lorien’s tiggerriffic color scheme, the town is ready to flourish… Downtown is restored and the Wal-Mart parking lot plans have been sent to 2719 Hyperion.

I have to thank all of you who stuck by me while I was in captivity. We can now movie forward with more discussions of things that effect our community…

Theres a lot to do so let’s get on with it.

Our New Sponsor!

With so much exciting news coming with my control over Passamaquoddy, it comes as no surprise that I’ve looked for new sponsors for the town that will soon have its first Wal-Mart parking lot. (To build a full Wal-Mart is just too controversial, so we’re just gonna build teh parking lot.)

While you will still be able to enjoy a herring whip, or a perch pop-up, we’re going to bring the town of Passamaquoddy to teh height of great taste…

Please welcome our new sponsor.. (pending)

Sources Reveal New Parks

According to my sources, Disney has announced 2 new parks for its Walt Disney Resort.  Which brings our total to seven:

  1. The Magic Kingdom
  2. Epcot
  3. Disney’s Hollywood Studios
  4. Disney’s Animal Kingdom
  5. Disney’s Coaster Kingdom
  6. Disney’s Lawnmower World
  7. Disney’s Regretville

The first four are the most popular.  The fifth park which has the most incredible coasters in the world, is a secret park that only a select few of us know about (You have to have connections like me)…

The new parks will be a way for Disney to fleece its visitors… You can pay $65 to enter, push a lawnmower at assigned locations throughout Disney property.  If you pay teh premium of $85, you get a rider mower.  Whatever the cost, you are paying to maintain the Disney property…

The second new park is a park filled with attractions and shows that they regret closing… 20,000 Leagues, Mister Toad and teh Original Journey into Imagination will be there surrounding a solid gold version of Horizons.  As you leave the park you will get a signed apology by the Disney people who had the attraction removed. I hear from my sources that Michael Eisner is filling up his evenings and weekends with apology time!

You can count on these parks opening as my sources will always remain accurate and totally unaccountable to errors.

And all you rebels living in caves putting out your anachist newspapers.. You can’t hide forever!
