Fellow Passamaquoddians it is with great pleasure that we announce the latest in local tourism. The S.S. Minnie, will set sail soon offering Harbor and Coastal Tours.
Captain Jonas “Scopa” Grumby named the vessel after Minnie Mouse the long time love interest of Mickey Mouse.
Captain Grumby has announced that the position of first mate has been filled. Joining his crew is Willie “Steamboat” Mongello. When asked what brought him to apply for this position his response was. “I was simply Breathless when I saw the name of the boat. Did you know…?” With that, first mate Mongello began quoting a long list of trivia and facts related to Disney, Boating and Vero Beach.
Two 3 hours tours will be offered daily, Tuesday through Saturday. The early bird breakfast cruise will be catered by Imma Itchy’s B&B while the Twilight cruise will be catered by Old Salt’s Place.
The S.S. Minnie takes its inaugural cruise Thursday evening. Joining the Captain and his fist mate will be Mayor Backus, his wife Natalie, Ginger Spice, Rachel Ray and our own Doc Terminus.

The thought of a 3 hour tour with “Steamboat” rattling off Disney trivia the whole time makes me sea sick.
Can I substitute Giada DeLaurentiis for Rachel Ray? I’m just asking. 3 hours is a long time listening to her… then again, 3 hours is a long time having to endure Lou’s rambling on about this fact and that fact. And speaking of which, did you know that in 1971….
